Forum Rules: ESL Teachers United
1) We are not here to falsely bash schools, owners, school employees, other teachers, school management, etc. Yes, it's going to happen but.... it does not have to be a malicious thing. If you need to be malicious......better for private messages.
2) Remember that, by choice or not by choice, we are teachers. We have a responsibility to criticize with respect towards learning and change. Possibly some of our students will stumble across this site so watch the nasty language. You can disable swearing so.....if you don't like swearing....We all suggest you just disable it.
3) Schools won't change just because we mouth off about them. Schools change when we provide alternative ways to improve. If there is NO possible way for a particular organization to change....go ahead and say so. Again, try to bite your tongues and deliver the message with some form of respect.
4) There will be ABSOLUTELY no bad-mouthing of other teachers by legal name. If you absolutely insist on bad-mouthing some other teacher, that teacher's name must be an alias. The story is what matters; NOT THE PERSON!
5) NO THREATS, THREATENING OF SCHOOLS, PEOPLE OR OTHER. ANYTHING THAT CAN BE PERCEIVED AS A DIRECT OR IMPLIED THREAT WILL BE DELETED AND THE FORUM USER WILL RECEIVE 1 WARNING. THE SECOND WARNING WILL BE AN AUTOMATIC USER BLACKLIST!
6) Gossip is not fact. Third-party stories should be clarified as being from or through a third-party.
7) All stories don't need to be bad. We want the good ones too. As the forum grows we will start to separate stories into "Good, Bad and Ugly" categories.
8) We will not create or insinuate any form of school BLACKLIST! Don't ask us to create one cuz' its stupid and unnecessary. People can choose to work wherever they choose and we, ESL Teachers United.org, will NOT make those decisions for anyone. We, ESL Teachers United.org, are here to clean up the mystery of signing ESL contracts. We, ESL Teachers United.org, are here to improve and cleanup the ESL industry. We, ESL Teachers United.org, are not here to burn bridges and create further divide between schools and teachers.
