ESL Teachers United

"ESL Teachers United and Unbreakable."

About Us

ESL Teachers United was created by experienced ESL teachers who have been working overseas for many years as ESL teachers. We are CELTA certified. We are TESOL Certified. We are young. We are older. Some of us starting teaching ESL because life twisted us into this career. Some of us are career teachers who just wanted to see the results of our time and effort going to students who generally benefit from our service.

Regardless of our reasons, we have put immense time, effort, study and sweat into being the best ESL teachers we can be. We realize that we won't get rich doing what we do but we also realize that we deserve the same humane respect abroad as we would receive for our services in our home countries.

We have all had great experiences as well as having had great employers throughout our careers as ESL teachers. Unfortunately, the bad experiences and bad employers have also caused undue stress for us. We do not wish ANY ESL teachers to unnecessarily suffer undue stress, financial or emotional hardships or lack of faith in ESL if we can help eliminate many of the trickeries, lies, bad contracts, bad management, and more than exist throughout the ESL industry.

Thus we have created ESL Teachers United. This website is not owned by any one person, group, entity or conglomerate. This is a united front of each and every ESL teacher who has had enough of enough and wants the ESL schools and teaching enviroments to be exactly what we were hired to make them be......ACADEMICALLY EXCELLENT! This website is for each and every teacher who has input, ideas, problems, issues and more that want to see a change in ESL hiring practices changed.

TEACHERS TAKE CARE OF TEACHERS! Help us take care of each other by joining ESL Teachers United. Join the forum. Voice your opinions. Share your stories. Rate the schools.

Together we can change the ESL industry and get things to where they need to be. A mutual and equal understanding between privatized schools and academic excellence.
